What to expect during the citizenship test & interview
1. The interview:

Who doesn’t have to take the test?

- Age 55+ and 15 Years as a Permanent Resident: Exempt from the English test but must take the Civics test in your native language.
- Age 65+ and 20 Years as a Permanent Resident: Eligible for an easier version of the Civics test with fewer questions.
- Medical Disability Exceptions:
- If you have a physical or developmental disability or mental impairment, you may be exempt from one or both tests with proper documentation (Form N-648).
